Barbara Walters... plastic surgery before & after!

Okay let's be real I'm not even going to ask who thinks she has had plastic surgery like TMZ did... you all have eyes!

Let me just say this we harp on Heidi Montag, Joan Rivers and countless others but noone has pointed out the obvious with Barbara Walters. Since watching The View (on the rare occassion) I must say to me she is a stuck up you-know-what but it bothers me even more that she has been completed overlooked for her plastic surgery usage. Not sure how often she has openly discussed it either which is ironic considering she makes a point of having her interviewees open up, so why hasn't she?  Walters has completely changed her appearance, yes she doesn't look as plastic as Joan Rivers, but she has gone under the knife, quite extensively nonetheless.

Count your blessings Barbara because your surgeries outcomes could have easily gone in a different direction...

Don't Ask Don't Tell... this one's for you Mikey!

For those who don't know already, what is dont ask dont tell?

"Don't ask, don't tell (DADT) is the common term for the policy restricting the United States military from efforts to discover or reveal closeted gay, lesbian, and bisexual service members or applicants, while barring those who are openly gay, lesbian, or bisexual from military service."

 

Believe it or not these restrictions are government mandated and the DADT policy prohibits anyone who: ["demonstrate(s) a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts" from serving in the armed forces of the United States, because "it would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability."]

DADT also prohibits any homosexual or bisexual person from disclosing his or her sexual orientation or from speaking about any homosexual relationships, including marriages or other familial attributes, while serving in the United States armed forces.

Now knowing the the basics of DADT I must say why this has not been repealed is seriously disappointing to me. Obama mentioned in his platform that when this issue crossed his desk he would address it, sadly we have seen more efforts to abolish this policy from Lady Gaga than the American President.

The policy explains the reasoning behind it is to ensure unit cohesion and protects the high standards of morale. Asking an individual to keep their entire life a secret from those they are supposed to trust fully will undoubtedly sacrifice unit cohesion!

Now for this risk to the high standards of morale and good order... forcing an individual to keep their life a secret really demonstrates morale and good order, I think not! More than anything else this is discrimination at it's finest and this policy is clearly doing more damage than good.

LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) rights are equally as important as all other individuals, because at the root they are still human, one thing we all have in common. If we were to focus more on what we have in common and how we can work together it would be increasingly more obvious how unnecessary policies such as this are!

Ke$ha should have done everyone a favour and stayed at home. The outfit is bad enough on it's own when not being paired with sex hair and next day makeup. Worst of all she decided to step out in this get-up for fashion week!

MTV's World of Jenks star gets ruffed up by rapper!

 

Just caught the new MTV show 'World of Jenks' and was really surprised it went to this level! Jenks immerses himself in people's lives for one week to learn more about them in hopes of growing as a person. He asks honest questions everyone wants to know and is too afraid to ask.

Sometimes the consequences of that balls out attitude is well... getting bitch-slapped by rappers who have been in jail for 10 years and later spiralling to super-stardom.

Adam Lambert charged with battery!

Looking very straight, Lambert is seen roughing up a photog in Miami Beach yesterday. The victim - if you want to call him that - is pressing misdemeanor battery charges against Lambert because of the incident.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the paparazzi states Lambert grabbed his backpack (with camera inside) and tackled him to the ground. However note in the picture above, the stupid paparazzi is holding the camera in his hand... not in the backpack, not to mention the report also states the victim was not injured during the incident.

Should Lambert be convicted he will face a maximum of one year in jail plus a $1,000 fine. Can't say I really see this happening and apparently neither does Adam as he posted to his Twitter account: "I lost my temper for a sec but wow it felt great lol MIAMI!!!"

I'm sure it did Adam and I don't blame you. However, I hope your tweet doesn't come back to haunt you like another unfortunate celeb... Paris Hilton...


All I have to say is all these paparazzi who are feeling the wrath of angry celebrities... boo hoo! Some more severe incidences aka Kanye West, rightfully so charges are necessary, but when your profession is invading people's personal space and lives in general, what do you expect!

Tourists flying into space as soon as 2015!

According to the New York Times, global aviation leader Boeing, will be sending tourists into space in the year 2015!

No pricing has been set yet but company reps say costs will be competitive with those of Soyuz': the company which sent Cirq du Soleil creator, Guy Laliberté, to the space station for eight days, all for the low ticket price of $40 million dollars!


For me I would love to do it, but not until the accommodations ramp up a little bit, all that time in a craft that looks like the image below... my claustrophobia would love that!

 Really...Perez we know your jealous you were'nt stuck inbetween a wolf and a pale face... so give it up already! I love Perez Hilton for the most part but disagree on one major front: Kristen Stewart (female lead of the insanely popular Twilight series) is ungrateful for her success.

Just what the world needs a complete lunatic aka Spencer Pratt running around crossing borders with guns in tow!

That's right, mentally unstable Pratt was arrested on September 11th (Ironic?) leaving Costa Rica back to the U.S. with felony possession of a firearm. You heard it people lock your doors, don your kevlar vests the arguably most unstable person in the U.S. is armed, loaded and crossing borders!

Just goes to show you not every piece an acclaimed designer ever creates is a masterpiece. My suggestion - ditch the jacket, pair the gorgeous Valentino skirt with a white sleeveless top (tucked into the skirt) and opt for a nude patent pump!

Yes, according to the latest issue of National Enquirer and Perez Hilton actor Jim Parsons recently got engaged to his BOYfriend of several years. Take it for what it's worth coming from the Enquirer but if it is true Parsons allegedly proposed to his now fiance Todd Spiewak minutes after his Emmy win for the Big Bang Theory.

Must say my gaydar was totally off with this one... congrats Shelly!

LFO Lead Singer Dies

I am sad to say thanks to TMZ I just found out Rich Cronin of the '90s pop group LFO passed away today. LFO had hits like: Summer Girls and Girl on TV. After a lengthy battle with Leukemia TMZ reports Rich had a stroke and died later today, he was 35 :(
