The latest Louis Vuitton’s “Core Values” ad campaign features a barefoot Angelina Jolie in her first Vuitton ad, photographed by Annie Leibovitz. Angelina returns to Cambodia’s Siem Reap province for the shoot; where she filmed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and also adopted her eldest son Maddox.
Jolie was shot sitting in a traditional wooden boat, in her own clothes, no makeup, and her own weathered monogrammed Alto bag. The ad is slated to break in the International Herald Tribune on Wednesday, and to run for at least 18 months alongside a few other personalities, including Bono and Sean Connery. Other personalities who have posed for Vuitton include Mikhail Gorbachev, Keith Richards and Catherine Deneuve.
