Brightest Hour: Celeb break-ups all around !?!

What is going on in Hollywood, all the long-term hollywood couples who were giving me faith that love can last a lifetime are now breaking up! First Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, next Courtney Cox and David Arquette and now Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman! Is it true, maybe marriage just might be an archaic institution in today's society?!

Aguilera has not explained the reasons behind the split but states the couples commitment to their son remains strong.

Also this WEEK...after being married for 11 years Courtney and David Arquette "amicably" decided to separate, stating the reason for their split was to learn themselves better and what they require from a spouse. Sad! I genuinely liked the sort of Ying/Yang the two brought to their relationship. Yet, even worse still... the two have apparently been separated for months and both have been linked to other love interests. David also took it upon himself to call Howard Stern and tell a live audience how Courtney had said she was tired of being his mother. However, strangely enough still is the fact David still regularly visits the set of Courtney's show Cougar Town!!!

Also this month Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) called it quits after TWENTY-THREE years :( Though they were never married, I must say I thought they would be together forever! Sarandon has opened up saying not getting married was supposed to stop them from taking each-other for granted, but after 23 years that may not have been true.

C'mon Hollywood couples you've got to work it out. Therapy, time away from the stresses of life under the spotlight, anything to keeps this girl's hopes of lasting-love alive!
